AN EMBLEMATIC BUILDING

Slotted into a haven of greenery, the building provided for the first team and staff is located on the highest level of the site, providing the privacy, security and tranquillity that the team needs.

As the site’s main building, it offers wraparound views of the whole centre. Boasting carefully designed architecture, it embodies the Paris Saint-Germain identity and values. The building’s increasingly protruding series of overhangs and glazed façades evoke vibration and movement, expressing the idea of the perpetual quest for performance and excellence.

The functionality of the facilities and the players’ comfort were the fundamental aspects that dictated the project design. Optimising the flow and connections between the different spaces was central to the layout plan. A rooftop terrace connected to a reception room offers outstanding views of the whole site and the surrounding landscapes, and even the Grande Arche in La Défense.

OPTIMUM TRAINING CONDITIONS

The professionals’ plateau features three connected training pitches and a training area for goalkeepers. Inside the 10,000m² building, the area exclusively reserved for professional players and staff also includes changing rooms, a communal living room, a “Performance” area with high-tech fitness rooms, a video analysis room, therapeutic pools, a medical treatment room (respecting the players’ confidentiality), a dining area and individual bedrooms. There is a space dedicated to the media on the first floor.

AN ENVIRONMENT THAT BOOSTS PERFORMANCE

The aesthetics are inseparable from the usability and operation of the plateau dedicated to the first team. From the enhanced layout to an optimisation of the distance covered when walking from A to B, no stone has been left unturned in an effort to meet the needs of professionals and staff. With better facilities, the development of new technology, and the use of unprecedented training methods, the surface area allocated to the professionals also represents an opportunity to develop the R&D side of the Club, equipping it in a lasting way so that it can continually innovate.
